I withhold a right to end an interaction at any moment. If I feel like someone is starting to be too mean or too attempting to be controlling of where a story is going.
As I know some roleplays can end up with nasty behavior. I am a bit… nervous about opening up roleplay to both so publicly. Though one more thing I want to note before getting to the details. But it also provides some opportunity to sort of flesh out further and/or put up some more awareness of the AUs that take up both I Dream of Twilight Sparkle and Geniequestria each. I know it may be odd to just now have a more public roleplay come into play for IDOTS when the blog is more than a decade old. Where they are purely roleplay blogs with text only replies to questions and/or interactions. What I’m considering, is opening sideblogs each for both IDOTS and Geniequestria. Right now both IDOTS and Geniequestria seem to be just on my part… putting up the next story… but I don’t want the more small-talk and/or interaction to just disappear. And I miss having some sort of community input. Or if both are to your tastes, because both is good :) ))īronyinabottle: Gauging interest for something… Whether you want a wholesome Starlight that is about as pure and understanding that we can make somepony who almost rebooted a timeline, or a Starlight that didn’t time travel but instead now has the power to do what she wills with the world, if you have a thing for powerful villains and/or evil genies. So I’m just sharing the two flavors of Starlight that I’m providing. And even then, won’t play any sort of major role) Not even the IDW comics ever expanded on Starlight, so it’s entirely up to fanworks to do so. (I should once again reiterate that Gen 5 will not be applied to I Dream of Twilight Sparkle much at all, there may be something for Geniequestria at some point. She’s pretty much a key for fanworks that want to keep going with stories specific to Gen 4. So in an environment where G5’s going to be the official stuff with a very unlikely chance that Starlight even gets as much of a mention. She’s the recurring character with the most left open after the end of the show. But it’s certainly Starlight that’s going to be the key to continuing on for a while. Though it’ll never show or explicitly describe stuff that might risk it being too much for a Post-NSFW Purge Tumblr….(Though I do have a DeviantArt account as a back-up, should it actually be deemed too much for some reason) Just be warned that there will be plenty of suggestive themes and hints of off-screen naughtiness going on there.īoth blogs also of course have the Mane 6 and plenty of the other characters around. Entirely different genie lore from I Dream of Twilight Sparkle or any of the other genies in Ain’t Never Had Friends Like Us (Which speaking of which, if you’re wondering if genie Starlight’s going to be added there… I’m afraid I’m going to have to tell you that probably isn’t happening for the foreseeable future.) As warned in the picture above though, the subject matter does get into things that are way above IDOTS that has remained for the most part show-tone friendly. Even outright taking place in what is an alternative Season 5 finale in that blog’s continuity. Geniequestria’s Starlight on the other hand, doubles down on her evil self from Season 5. Which should explain a pretty obvious character’s appearance that’s been around to help explain this Starlight’s past) She still did everything that is most infamous of her from Season 5, but now there’s something of an explanation that’s deeper layered then just Sunburst’s leaving (Although that certainly at the very least, was the final straw for her) As some of it can only work within the lore of I Dream of Twilight Sparkle and other differences from canon such as Equestria Girls having not happened in Genie Twilight’s universe. I Dream of Twilight Sparkle’s Starlight is of course giving Genie Twilight’s universe’s answers to most of the mysteries of Starlight’s past that was left open by the show (Though should not be taken as me saying that I think is canon, as I’ve mentioned many times before. Some 15.ai lines for the meme referred to between the two Starlights too. Both blogs now star Starlight in some huge fashion but they’re very different depictions.
